What are the best ways to learn how to speak French as soon as possible? This is what you are thinking, right? Firstly, you need to change this mindset, as it is a language. 

It will take time to master, but if you are just looking for how to learn conversational French, then its possible to learn by 2 months.

I understand the struggle you face in terms of learning to speak French. More excitingly, if you are new to this, you properly thinking of “How to speak French”. In both of cases, you need to understand initially that, french is not a hard language to learn.

Admitting to you that you will start to speak French, by the end of this blog post. Here are some effective strategies to help you lean how to speak french confidently and fluently. 

1. Start With the Basics: 

Understanding the unique sounds of the french language is crucial. Focus on mastering the pronouncing of vowels and consonants. 

This will greatly improve your speaking skills. Also, listening to native speakers through podcasts or videos can help you mimic the correct sounds. 

2. Build Your Vocabulary: 

Start with essential words and phrases that are commonly used in everyday conversations. For examples:

  • Bonjour (bohn-zhoor) – Hello / Good morning
  • Bonsoir (bohn-swahr) – Good evening
  • Salut (sah-loo) – Hi / Bye (informal)
  • Au revoir (oh ruh-vwahr) – Goodbye
  • À bientôt (ah byan-toh) – See you soon

This is how you can save the blog post or create a list of basic pronouns, nouns, and verbs. This foundational vocabulary will allow you to form simple sentences and engage in basic dialogues quickly.

Now, initially, I won’t recommend you to pay any tutor for just basic conversations. This is because, this won’t make any sense, you can easily do it yourself in front of the mirror. 

8. Online Resources To Learn French:

When it comes to online resources to learn French, then you can try out these apps Duolingo, Babbel or Rosetta Stone. 

These apps offer structured lessons and interactive exercises to improve online french learning. These platforms often include speaking practice that can improve your fluency. 

9. Learn French through Movies and Music: 

Immerse yourself in french culture by watching movies or listening to music in french. This not only improves your listening skills but also exposes you to colloquial expressions and cultural nuances. 

10. Read Aloud: 

Reading books, articles or even recipes in French can help reinforce vocabulary and improve pronunciation. Try reading aloud to practice your speaking skills actively. 

Final Thoughts: 

Learn how to speak French following the steps mentioned. Learning French can help you in various areas from building careers to friends etc. Mastering the language can take a longer period and investment. 

However, a minimum of 2 months is enough to learn conversational French language by utilizing various online resources, as mentioned.
