• • Use a good-quality microphone and recording software to record. However, I’ve used two free software like Audacity and GarageBand for recording.

Getting Into Podcast Directories with Buzzsprout: 

Uploading your podcast from Buzzsprout to other directories is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Prepare Your Podcast:

• • Ensure you have at least one episode published in your Buzzsprout account.

2. Access the Directories Page:

• • Log in to your Buzzsprout account.
  • Navigate to the “Directories” page from your dashboard.

3. Submit to Directories:

• • Click on “Get Listed” under each directory you want your podcast to appear in.
  • Follow the specific instructions for each directory. Some common directories include:
    • Apple Podcasts: You’ll need to create an Apple ID if you don’t have one. Submit your RSS feed URL to Apple Podcasts Connect.
    • Spotify: Buzzsprout can directly submit your podcast to Spotify. Just follow the prompts on the Directories page.
    • Google Podcasts: Submit your RSS feed to Google Podcasts Manager.

Buzzsprout Podcast Hosting Review: 

Buzzsprout podcast hosting plans are expensive, every says. let’s see, why this is so? The pricing can be considered relatively affordable compared to other podcast hosting services.

But its totally depends on individual needs and budget. Under the free plan, you can upload up to 2 hours podcast per month. But only available for 90 days means 3 months.

This means after 90 days, your podcasts will be deleted from the website until make a paid plan. Which is reasonable to according to me to get reach. If you market you podcast well, you can achieve traffic after 1 month.

Paid Plans are on the other hand,

• $12/month: Upload 3 hours per month, with $4 per additional hour.
• $18/month: Upload 6 hours per month, with $3 per additional hour.
• $24/month: Upload 12 hours per month, with $2 per additional hour.

Now, all I can say is, If you are thinking of uploading podcasts of about 5-10 minutes shorter, then consider buzzsprout. Whereas, if your podcasts are usually longer enough of about 40- 50 minutes, then choose other podcast hosting service provider such as podbean.

This will reduce the cost of overall hosting your podcasts (check my personal review) . However, small businesses and short form of podcasting, you can choose this software.
