1. Online Courses and Platforms:

Several websites offer comprehensive french courses that cater to different learning styles. However, I don’t recommend investing in apps rather focus on ebooks and podcasts to stay positive and consistent.

  • Busuu: This platform provides interactive lessons for beginners to advanced learners, and also provides essential vocabulary and grammar. If you want to practice speaking with native speakers and track your progress through bite-sized lessons, then try.
  • Duolingo: It is known for its gamified approach, and also the friendly approach to learning the French language in a fun way. The app offers short lessons that fit easily into your daily routine. This makes it perfect for busy learners.
  • eLearning French: This site offers free lessons based on the FSI French basic course. It includes audio dialogues and quizzes to reinforce your learning.

2. Language Exchange and Community Learning:

Engaging with others can significantly improve your learning experience. Some of them are named below:

  • HelloTalk: This app connects you with native French speakers who want to learn your language. You can practice speaking and writing while helping others with their English.
  • Tandem: This app is similar to Hellotalk, but not exactly it is. This allows you to find language partners for text, voice, or video chats, and provide a practical way to practice conversational skills.

3. Consuming French Media:

Immerse yourself in the language by consuming french content can make it different from others:

  • Watch French Movies and Series: I don’t personally prefer to watch movies and don’t recommend people to watch to learn the language. I believe podcasts work well and benefit you 2x better.
  • Listen to French Podcasts: Podcasts are the best way to improve your listening skills. Check ours

4. Practice with Exercises and Quizzes:

Reinforce your knowledge through practice:

  • Online Quizzes: Websites like Digital Dialects offer interactive quizzes on various topics such as vocabulary and grammar. This will allow you to test your knowledge in a fun way.
  • Grammar Exercises: You can use resources like “practice makes perfect” to provide guided exercises that help solidify your understanding of French Grammar rules or you can follow the Assignment PDF.
